How I Built a Complete HTML5 Game in Just a Few Days Using Claude AI

Today I want to share a major shift in my workflow: I created Mini Golf 3D, a full HTML5 game with 40 levels, 3D graphics, a gem system, unlockable balls in a shop, sound effects, and music—almost entirely in chat with the AI Claude, using an approach I call vibe coding—describing step by step what I want and watching the game assemble itself in real time through conversation.

 

The Concept

Mini Golf 3D was designed to be monetization-ready. Key features include:

  • 3D graphics directly in the browser using Three.js

  • 40 unique levels with obstacles, slopes, and special zones

  • Gem-based economy to reward the player

  • In-game shop with unlockable balls

  • Instrumental music generated with Suno and sound effects via Web Audio API

  • Particle animations to celebrate achievements

  • Full integration with the GameMonetize SDK

  • Progress saving, responsive layout, and mobile-optimized controls

Everything is organized into clear folders and files under my name, ready for publication.

 

AI-Assisted Development

The game was created almost entirely in chat with Claude, focusing on one aspect at a time using vibe coding:

Architecture and Core Loop

Claude transformed my descriptions into working code: state machine (IDLE, AIMING, ROLLING, SINKING), Three.js scene setup, camera system, and main game loop.

Level Design

Each level is defined by data such as field size, ball position, obstacles, and slopes. Claude generated and corrected levels quickly, following my guidance on difficulty and collisions.

Physics and Gameplay

Rolling, friction, collisions, slope gravity, penalties on sand or water—Claude translated the gameplay rules I described into working code.

UI and Screens

Menus, pause screens, result popups, shop, and level grid: all created in HTML/CSS with a minimal dark design and green accents, fully mobile-friendly.

Audio

Instrumental music generated with Suno and sound effects via Web Audio API for hits, bounces, and gem collection. No external files required.

Economy, Progression, and Saving

Gem system, shop, localStorage saving, New/Continue split, and reset with confirmation—everything implemented quickly through iterative chat sessions with Claude.

GameMonetize SDK Integration

Interstitials at the start and end of levels, pause/resume events during ads: all working perfectly on the first try thanks to AI assistance.

Polishing and Bug Fixing

Celebration particles, button clicks, auto-pause on window blur, final trophy screen, custom reset popup: Claude also handled polishing and minor bug fixes.

 

What the AI Does in This Workflow

Claude doesn’t decide what the game is, but accelerates implementation: turning my ideas into immediately testable code, remembering the context of chat sessions, and applying quick corrections.
Suno generates instrumental soundtracks, and Nano Banana provides 2D/3D graphics, completing the workflow.

  • 40 complete levels

  • 3D graphics via Three.js and assets created with Claude Ai

  • 2D graphics via Nano banana Pro

  • Gem economy and 8 unlockable balls

  • 8 music tracks + Web Audio effects generated with Suno

  • Particle system to celebrate achievements

  • Progress saving and reset

  • Responsive layout for desktop and mobile

Conclusions

The industry rewards those who can deliver complete products quickly. AI doesn’t replace creativity but drastically reduces implementation time.

Mini Golf 3D is my proof-of-concept: the next game will be even faster to develop thanks to this workflow of vibe coding, chat with Claude Ai, Suno Ai, and Nano Banana Pro.
